How does the recruitment process work at Fusion?

The majority of our vacancies are advertised on the careers page of the Fusion Group website. Should you wish to apply you will be asked to complete the online application form and upload your CV. For some roles the application is completed over more than one stage and you must successfully pass each stage before moving onto the next.

What if I don't find the right opportunity immediately?

If you do not see your ideal opportunity, simply submit your CV online.  As a matter of company policy, and to comply with the Data Protection Act, Fusion holds speculative CVs for a maximum of three months.

What happens after I submit my resume online?

Once you apply for a position, you will receive an email notification confirming receipt of your application and CV. This notification will either come from Fusion directly or from one of our online partners.

Do I need to tell you about any previous criminal convictions?

When you apply for a job with Fusion, the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 means that you must tell us about any criminal convictions you may have which are not ‘spent’. If you don’t tell us you may be dismissed from your job. Prison sentences of more than 2 ½ years can never become ‘spent’. Please note that it is the sentence imposed by the court that counts, even if it is a suspended sentence, and not the time actually spent in custody.

What is the usual interview process

If you are successful at the shortlisting stage you will be given at least five working days’ notice of a job interview. Unfortunately, due to the number of applications we receive, we are not always able to let you know if you haven’t been shortlisted for interview.

What do I need to bring to interview?

Please bring proof of qualifications and professional registrations (please note that photocopies are not accepted). All candidates should also provide documentation to prove their identity and confirm that they can legitimately work in the UK.

What happens when an offer of employment is made?

If you are successful at your job interview, we will need two satisfactory references before we can offer you the position. At least one of these should be from your current or last employer

What are the rewards and benefits?
